New Release: : Soundlimit – The Void (Bonzai Progressive)

We welcome Soundlimit back to Bonzai Progressive with the superb ‘The Void’. Belgian artist Iwan Cornet debuted here for us back in the spring of 2023 with the fantastic ‘Darkest Cloud’. His passion for music was evident from a young age, and by 15, he was already diving into the world of DJing, encouraged by his friends. For his 16th birthday, he invested in a DJ setup and began experimenting with various sounds and styles. In the late 90s, Iwan was drawn to the harder music styles, which sparked his interest in underground music and deeper sounds. His frequent visits to vinyl shops led him to discover Techno, marking the beginning of his journey into electronic music. Over the years, his style has evolved, but he consistently seeks a melodic and joyful vibe. Known for his love of partying, his sets are a dynamic blend of Deep House, Tech House, Techno, Minimal, and everything in between, as he continuously explores the vast landscape of sound.

The Original Mix kicks off the release with a robust kick drum and a gentle hi-hat combo, establishing a smooth rhythmic flow. Multiple percussion elements build up, providing a sturdy base for the groove to develop into a rich and dynamic experience. An energizing rolling bassline drives the sound forward, while melodic and emotionally resonant synths gradually take centre stage. The break features a sublime sequence that peaks in a dramatic drop back into the main groove, sustaining the momentum throughout. A standout track that is not to be missed.

Talented Serbian artist Ivan Pogrebniak returns to Bonzai Progressive on remix duties. This one follows his debut back at the end of 2023 with ‘Ultraviolet’. Although a relative newcomer to the scene, Ivan has quickly garnered attention from top labels such as OLD SQL Recordings, Hungry Koala Records, and Future Avenue. Known for his fusion of warm vibes and cosmic grooves, Ivan is a true rising star. In this remix, Ivan delves into the progressive depths, crafting a warm and captivating groove that evolves into a powerful and emotive piece. Solid kick drums and bursts of rhythmic percussion form the groove’s foundation, while deep, rolling basses fortify the low end. Hypnotic arpeggios and melodic notes intertwine with an irresistible 303 hook that ignites the groove. A masterful creation that delivers the good.
